ImagePlayer (2008) is a simple Java utility for playing back folders of still image files (pngs, jpgs or gifs) as motion sequences or as slideshows. Images can be viewed in a window or full screen. Motion sequences can be played back in a number of different ways (forward, reverse, yoyo, random image, random forward, random reverse, random yoyo and random forward-reverse). You can control the speed of playback either by adjusting the frame increment or by modifying the delay time between each frame playback cycle. You can also specify the range of frames to be viewed. A set of keyboard shortcuts allow for quick interactive control of playback parameters. The software works well as a means of viewing animated Um renders.
